Pravkar smo prejeli sporočilo, da bo predsednik Republike Slovenije, g. Danilo Turk, 3.7.2009 ob 11.00 sprejel Jureta Robiča.

Predsednik podpira Jureta v vsem kar je naredil za Slovenijo in slovenski narod in ga z veseljem sprejema.

 

We just received notice that president of Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Danilo Turk, will meet Jure Robic on 3.7.2009 at 11.00.

Mr. President is supporting Jure in all that he did for Slovenia and slovenian people and he is glad to meet him.

Včeraj smo ponovno pisali zgodovino RAAM-a. Najbrž smo organizirali prvo medekipno zabavo. Do zgodnjih jutranjih ur smo se družili z ekipo Gerharda Gulewitza, ki so nam priznali, da jih tlačijo more zaradi slovenske turbofolk glasbe:). Vsakič ko jo zaslišijo vedo, da se približuje Jure Robič :) Pridružili sta se nam tudi dami, ki sta precej vpleteni v RAAM, vendar nista v nobeni ekipi. Tako, da je bila zabava zelo internacionalna. Danes zabave ne bo (najbrž), ker zjutraj ohajamo z avtodomom v New Jersey kjer ga moramo vrniti. Kakšne 4 ure vožnje v eno smer. Nakupovanje daril za domače je v glavnem zaključeno.

Ostane nam še en dan za pakiranje, v torek popoldne pa odletimo nazaj v domače kraje. Na Brniku pristanemo v sredo ob 11.30.

Letošnji RAAM, ki je bil na videz zelo drugačen od prejšnjih se bo s tem tudi neuradno zaključil. Vsi smo utrujeni, vendar polni novih spoznanj in izkušenj.

Če je to naš zadnji RAAM, naj se zahvalim Juretu, da sem bil lahko z njim na vseh teh dirkah in naj povem, da sem ponosen na to.

Če zaključim še s prevodom nekega citata: "Nekega dne se ti bo pred očmi zavrtelo vse tvoje življenje, poskrbi da bo vredno ogleda."

 

We were again writing the history of RAAM. I guess we organized the very first inter-team party. Till the very early morning we partied with Gerhard Gulewitz crew who addmited that they have nightmares because of slovenian turbofolk music :) They know that every time they hear it, Jure Robic is coming :) Two ladies, connected to RAAM, but not in any team, joined us too. With that, our party was very international. Tonight there will be no party, we have to wake up early and return our motorhome to New Jersey, some 4 hour of driving, one direction. Shoping for presents for kids, wifes.... is more or less completed.

The last day will be reserved for packing, we are flying out on tuesday afternoon, landing on Brnik on wednesday 11.30CET.

This year's RAAM, on a first look very different from the others, will be then also unofficially finished. We are all tired, but full of new knowlege and experience.

If that is our last RAAM, let me thank Jure for this incredible ride and let me tell him that I'm proud to be with him.

Home coming

Jure bo z ekipo ostal še nekaj dni v Annapolisu. Počitek in šoping. :)

Domov pridemo v sredo 1.7. Na Letališču Ljubljana predvidoma pristanemo ob 11.30 po lokalnem času.

Spodaj vam pripenjam še filmček iz serije, Tips and trcs of RAAM. Film zelo lepo prikazuje kako se lahko izogneš ustavljanju na rdeči luči. Seveda je to s pravili prepovedano in seveda sem ta film predal sodnikom in seveda kazni niso napisali.:)

 

Jure and the team will stay in Annapolis for few more days. Resting and shoping. :)

We'll come home on 1st of July. We will land on Ljubljana Airport at 11.30 local time.

Zdravniško poročilo

Tisti, ki ste spremljali RAAM 2008, dobro veste, da sem se redno javljal z zdravniškimi poročili, v katerih sem opisoval Juretovo zdravstveno stanje in aktivnosti članov ekipe v spremljevalnem vozilu. Omenjene prispevke sem pisal med počitkom, v katerem sem najprej oskrbel Jureta med njegovim spanjem in nato preostali čas namenil vam v svojih poročilih. Letos mi je bilo javljanje med nočnimi postanki onemegočeno iz objektivnih razlogov, vendar sem vam kljub temu dolžan opravičilo. Glede na konkurenčnost Wyss-a smo bili prisiljeni postanke ne dirki skrajšati na maksimum človeske vzdržljivosti in pogosto mi je čas dovoljeval le skrb za Jureta.

 

Jureta redno spremljam na ultrakolesarskih dirkah od dirke po Franciji leta 2006. Letos na DOS-u sem mu v spremljevalnem vozilu sledil vsak kilometer dirke in spoznal, da še nikoli ni bil v tako dobri psihofizični kondiciji. Svojo fizično pripravljenost in predvsem psihično zrelost je bil sposoben dvigniti še na višji nivo. To dobro popotnico pred RAAM-om 2009, je nekoliko skalilo vnetje sednega predela, ki je zahtevalo 10-dnevno antibiotično zdravljenje, in prehled, ki ga je staknil med letom v ZDA. Kljub temu je ob prihodu na to stran Atlantskega oceana dobro vedel, po kaj je prišel: DIRKATI ČEZ AMERIKO PO SVOJIH NAJBOLJŠIH MOČEH IN ZA NAGRADO ZMAGATI. Vključno z Juretom smo tudi ostali člani ekipe vedeli, v kaj se spuščamo...nismo pa vedeli, kaj nas čaka...ravno to je čar tega ultra-športnega dogadka, katerega start smo v začetku vsi nestrpno čakali.

 

Začetno nervozo je hitro razblinila Juretova odločnost poganjati kolo iz milje v miljo....."Za koga? - Za Jureta?; Za koga? - Za Slovenijo!; Za koga? - Za ekipo!" je odmevalo med nami vsemi. Dočakali smo drugi dan dirke brez spanca in pričele so se pojavljati prve težave. Ekstremni napori v peklenski vročini in predvsem suh puščavski zrak so doprinesli k Juretovim težavam z zgornjimi dihali. Izsušena sluznica in težave z izkašljevanjem so mu dajale občutek težkega dihanja, kar je Jureta kljub dosedanjim izkušnjam bremenilo. Poskrbel sem za redno vlaženje s pršili in kljub temu je tretji dan dirke dobil blažjo angino z oteklino mehkega neba, ki mu je povzročala bolečino pri požiranju. Primoran sem ga bil zdraviti z antibiotikom in prvič je postalo nadaljevanje dirke negotovo. Nisem bil brez skrbi, želel sem si le 2 stvari...naj zdravilo prime brez posledic in naj bo naslednja noč vlažna, pa četudi to pomeni kolesarjenje v dežju. Verjeli ali ne...točno to se je zgodilo! Prvo navdušenje nad izginotjem težav pa ni trajalo dolgo. Četrti dan dirke so se pojavile odrgnine v spodnjem delu zadnice in v predelu genitalij kljub preventivni uporabi preizkusenih obližev. Bolečine pri poganjanju kolesa sede so zahtevale intenzivnejšo skrb za kožo in menjavo obližev z zaščitno kremo večkrat dnevno, ker je pomenilo ureditev težav na račun izgube čase.

 

Tudi v naslednjih dneh ni bilo miru. Posledica pomanjkanja spanja, predhodnih zdravstvenih težav in negotovih pogledov na preostale milje do cilja je bila Juretova razdražljivost z nanadnimi spremembami v čustvovanju. To so bile težave, ki jim odkrito povedano sam nisem bil kos. Kot izkušen trener je tu vlogo prevzel vodja spremljevalne ekipe in spoštovani trener slovenske biatlonske reprezentance Uroš Velepec. Ko sem ga opazoval pri uporabi vseh preizkušenih metod športne psihologije in inovaciji novih, posebno prirejenih za Jureta, se nisem mogel načuditi širini njegovega znanja na tem področju...ni kaj, kapo dol! Še nikoli se ni zgodilo, da bi bil Jure celo dirko tako brihten z le nekaj padci v razpoloženju, ki smo jih uspeli hitro urediti. Ni težko, če je prisotna oseba, ki ve, kako vplivati na športnika v kriznih trenutkih!

 

Nekje peti in šesti dan smo naleteli na vročino do 38 stopinj C in vlago, skozi katero bi lahko rezal zrak. Način prehranjevanja in količina zaužite tekočine v hudi vročini sta povzročila zatekanje Juretovih okončin. Potrebno je bilo veliko pregovarjanj, da je Jure razumel otekanje nog in rok brez večjega strahu za svoje zdravje in je bil sploh pripravljen nadeljevati dirko. Jasno je bilo, da bo Juretovo telo premagalo otekanje in res je bilo tako, ko so postale vremenske razmere bolj prijazne.

 

Sledila sta zadnja 2 dneva dirke. Kljub bolečinam v nogah in pekočim bolačinam v podplatih je bil Jure v taki formi pred samim zaključkom kolesarske dirke čez Ameriko kot še nikoli do sedaj. Bil je izčrpan, ampak zdrav in dovolj brihten, da je celo sam izdelal plan, kako bo v zadnjih dveh dnevih poskusil ugnati glavnega konkurenta. S to gesto je dobesedno presenetil vse izčrpane člane ekipe v spremljevalnem vozilu (Uroš Velepec, Miran Vereš, Jošt Zevnik, moja malenkost). Obsedeli smo kot pribiti (no, 22 ur na dan v avtu te tako ali tako oboroži s tem občutkom), se čudili Juretovi odločnosti (Jure je bil MAN WITH THE PLAN) in z njim smo imeli manj dela kot v prejšnjih dneh (le navigacija in strežba s pijačo ter hrano). Spoznali smo, kakšna motivacija je za Jureta prisotnost konkurenta. Boril se je kot lev, ni popustil niti milje svoje vožnje vse do usodne postaje 51, ko so mu organizatorji onemogočili nadaljnje dirkanja kot vodilnemu kolesarju do tistega trenutka. Po 28-ih letih bi se lahko uresničil dolgo pričakovani epski RAAM (dva kolesarja bi se na metre borila 5000 kilometrov vse do ciljne črte) in vesolni svet bi lahko to spremljal v živo...žal se to ni zgodilo in vsi skupaj smo bili prikrajšani za ta nadnaravni pojav - kolesarski šprint v cilj po 5000 kilometrih. Žal se tak nepričakovan scenarij ni vklopil v zgodbo organizatorja in predvsem nihovega medijskega predstavnika (beri Perry Stone), ki je po 6 letih kraljevanja Jureta na RAAM-u želel ustvariti novega junaka in novo zgodbo ter tako ni hotel tvegati negotovega šptinta v cilj. Verjeli ali ne....vse to se je dogajalo pred našimi očmi v zadnjih treh dneh dirke. Nismo mogli verjeti, kako lahko organizator take dirke pokaže tako malo spoštovanja do ultrašportnikov, ki se najprej odpovedujejo vsemu v življenju in nato v večini primerov sami napraskajo dovolj sredstev, da si omogočijo udeležbo na RAAMu. Po prihodu na časovno postajo 51 sva z Velepcem Juretu predstavila dogajanje na dirki in ga podprla v odločitvi, da bojkotira prihod v cilj. Vsem tistim, ki ne soglašate z Juretovo odločitvijo priznam, da sem sokriv. Zakaj menim, da sem storil pravilno, ko sem Jureta podprl v odločitvi? Jure je na RAAM-u dosegel vse, kar je mogoče....je 4-kratni zmagovalec, ki je bil 5-krat najhitrejši kolesar na zadnji časovni postaji pred ciljem....je človek z duhom športnika po vsej črti za vse, ki ga poznajo....NISEM IMEL SRCA, DA BI JURETA GLEDAL V ZGODBI, V KATERI JE ŠPORTNI DUH UMRL IN TO NA DIRKI, KI JE JURETA NAREDILA NAJBOLJŠEGA NA SVETU....TO JE ZGODBA O RAAM-u 2009!!! RAAM 2009 ni športni dogodek, ampak medijska produkcija organizatorjev z novinarjem (Perry Stone) na čelu - tega pa se Jure in njegova ekipa ne gremo, preveč radi pošteno dirkamo. Glede zadnjega dela teksta se vam zahvaljujem za razumevanje in podporo, ki jo nudite pri Juretovi odločitvi o ohranitvi športnega duha na tako visokem nivoju.

Mnogi od vas se sprašujete zakaj sem odnehal z dirko na 51 kontrolni točki letošnje dirke čez ameriko RAAM – Race Across America.

RAAM sem zmagal štirikrat in vedno sem sledil vsem previlom in dolžnostim. Ponosem sem na to in vem da sem najboljši kolesar v zgodovini RAAM-a. Letošnje leto sem vodil na vseh 51-ih kontrolnih točkah od Ocenaside-a do Mt.Airy, MD sem bil vodilni v dirki vseh 2967 milj.

Organizatorji dirke so meni in ekipi prisodili tri kazni v skupni vrednosti 60 min. Niti eden od prekrškov mi ni prinesel nikakršne nepoštene prednosti na progi. Prva kazen je bila dodeljena še pred pričetkom dirke. Moral sem odtočit in to sem storil diskretno blizu štartne linije. Očitno me je videl policist in zadevo prijavil organizatorju dirke, ki mi je prisodil 15 mintno kazen še pred štartom dirke.Druga kazen je bila dodeljena ekipi ponoči na avtocesti I10 v puščavi v Kaliforniji. Skoraj 30 milj sem bil zadrževan na avtocesti, kjer se ne sme prehitevati, za počasnejšim kolesarjem. Medtem je prišel sodnik v svojem avtu in vozil vzporedno z ekipo počasnejšega kolesarja ter očitno govoril z njimi. Moja ekipa je opazila vizualne signale, ki so jih razumeli kot dovoljenje za prehitevanje. To smo storili in, na naše presenečenje, dobili novo 15 minutno kazen dve uri kasneje.

Tretja kazen pa je bila rezultat navigacijske napake moje ekipe blizu Boomingtona v Indiani. Sledili so progi iz 2008, ki je 6 milj daljša, težja in z več prometa. Ta del me je upočasnil in izgubil sem eno uro. Po vrhu vsega sem dobil še 30 minutno kazen.

S tem bremenom vprašljivih kazni sem vozil moj najhitrejši RAAM in ostal pred najbližjim konkurentom Dani-jem Wyss-om, ki je tudi vozil dirko življenja. Ob tej priložnosti bi mu rad čestital za odlično načrtovano in izvedeno dirko.

Wyss in njegova ekipa niso bilo podvrženi enakim merilom kot jaz in moja ekipa. Wyss in njegova ekipa niso dobili niti ene kazni. Sodnikom smo pokazali jasne video dokaze kršenja pravil. Organizator na to ni reagiral.

Organizator je ignoriral kršitve, ki so očitno pomagale Wyss-u in ekipi redno pridobivati čas. Te kršitve so vključevale:

 

Vožnjo skozi rdečo luč.

Zavijanje desno na rdeči luči in takojšnjevračanje na progo.

Vožnja skozi stop znake.

Neustavljanje na TS51, čeprav so pravila jasna.

Dodajanje hrane in pijače na rdeči luči.

Nevarno visenje skozi okno med dodajanje hrane kolesarju.

Neprimerno vedenje ekipe.

Karavaning

 

Nobena od kršitev, ki je očitno pomagala Dani-ju Wyss-u pridobivati na času, ni rezultirala v niti eni dodeljeni kazni. Lahko si boste ogledali tudi video posnetke, ki so bili posneti v zadnjih 12 urah dirke. Še več informacij bo sledilo v naslednjih dneh.

Večina the relativno malih prekrškov se lahko sešteje v več ur pridobljenega časa, če se redno dogajajo preko vseh 8 dni dirke v vseh 3000 miljah. Organizator dirke ni reagiral in s tem omogočil pošteno dirko.

“Več kot 30 let sem že v športu kot tekmovalec in kot trener in imam veliko tolerance glede poštenosti v športu. Toda to kar je bilo prikazano na letošnjem RAAM-u s strani organizatorja presega vse meje sprejemljivega. Ta meja je bila presežena, ko je medijska ekipa Perry-a Stone-a videla prevoženo rdečo luč s strani Dani-ja Wyss-a in West Virginia na sedmi dan dirke. Spet brez posledic.

Poskušali smo prinesti poštenost v dirko, celotna ekipa pa je bil ignorirana s strain sodnikov RAAM. Naše sporočilo izstopa iz dirke, medtem, ko smo bili an prvem mestu na TS 51 je sledeče: Ignoriranje štirikratnega prvaka na način kot je bilo izvedeno, je nesprejemljivo.

Z žalostjo vsrcu moram priznati, da je tako ravnanje orginazatorja z Juretom največje razočaranje v moji karieri športnika in trenerja.”

Zelo sem ponosen na moj dosežek, da sem bil ponovno najhitrerjemjši na celotni dirki in bi se rad zahvalil svoji ekipi za njihovo podporo in pozitivno energijo. Zahvalil bi se tudi rad svojim sponzorjem za njihovo velikodušno podporo in svojim fanom za vzpodbude.

Many of you are wondering why I stopped racing at time station 51 of this years’s Race Across America, RAAM.

I have won RAAM four times and always followed all rules and procedures, I am proud of that and know that I am the best racer in RAAM history. This year I was first at all 51 times stations from Oceanside to Mt. Airy, Maryland and was leading the race for 2967 miles.

The race organizers assessed three penalties to me and my team for a total of 60 minutes. None of these penalties gave me any advantage to be faster or gain any unfair advantage. The first was assessed even before the start because I had to pee and did so in a private matter near the starting line. Apparently an ambitious policeman saw me and reported this to the race organizer who assessed the first 15 minute penalty before I even got on my bike.

The second one was assessed to my team on interstate 10 in the night of the California desert. I was held up by a slower rider from another division for almost 30 miles on the intestate where it is not allowed to pass other vehicles. Then an official vehicle arrived on the course and talked to that slower rider. My team’s pace car got some visuals signal that we understood as a clear indication to pass the slower rider, we did so and to our surprise a second penalty of 15 minutes was served by the same official about 2 hours later.

The third penalty was a result of a navigational mistake of my crew near Bloomington, Indiana. They followed the route from RAAM 2008 which is 6 miles longer, more difficult and had lots of traffic. It slowed me for about one hour and on top of that, race officials assessed a third penalty of 30 minutes for a total of 1 hour.

With this handicap of questionable penalties I rode my fastest RAAM ever always staying ahead of my nearest competitor Dani Wyss who was riding the race of his life. At this point, I would like to congratulate him on a plan well executed and his great achievements of keeping my pace.

However Wyss and his team were not subject to the same rules and regulations as my team and myself were. Wyss and his team were not assessed any penalties. We have shown clear video evidence to the race officials of consistent infractions of Wyss and his team nothing was done by the race organizers.

The race organization ignored infractions that clearly made Wyss race faster on a consistent basis. These infractions include:

 

- Running red lights

- Turning right at red lights and immediately crossing to the left

- Running stop signs

- Not stopping at the mandatory stop for racers at TS 51

- Feeding the racer at red lights

- Aiding the racer from the pace car leaning out the window

- Inappropriate behavior of crew

- Caravaning

 

None of these observed infractions that made Wyss and his team ride a faster race were acted upon by the race officials with giving at least some penalties. You can see videos that were all made in less than a 12 hour period of some of these infraction on YouTube and more will follow in the next few days.

Most of these relatively small benefits when looked at individually add up to several hours of benefits if consistently implemented over 8 days and 3000 miles of racing. The race officials did not act upon these infractions and as such did not ensure a consistent and fair race.

“I have been involved in sports for almost 30 years as athlete and coach and as such have lots of tolerance to application of fairness in sports. However what was displayed by the RAAM race officials during this year’s RAAM goes far beyond anything that is acceptable. The race officials crossed this line when RAAM officials including Perry Stone’s media crew saw Wyss run a red light in West Virgina on Day 7 of the race – again without any consequences.

While Jure and Dani Wyss were riding together, I observed Dani Wyss attacking Jure immediately after he had a flat tire and had to stop. This is against any established and practiced sportsmanship in cycling.

We tried to bring fairness to the race but the entire team was ignored by the RAAM race officials. Our clear message to them by stopping our race in first place at time station 51 is that it is unacceptable to mistreat a four time champion in the way they did.

I must sadly say that the treatment Jure received from the RAAM race organizers during this race is the biggest disappointment in my career as sportsman and coach.”

Jure je bil najhitrejši kolesar na letošnji dirki čez Ameriko, RAAM. Na zadnjo kontrolno točko TS51 v MtAiry je prišel nekaj minut pred Dani-jem Wyss-om. Zaradi kazni, ki so po našem mnenju dodeljene sporno, zaradi nekonsistentnega upoštevanja pravil organizatorja, zaradi neupoštevanja naših pripomb o kršitvah ostalih tekmovalcev, se je Jure skupaj z ekipo odločil da dirke ne konča kot drugouvrščeni ampak odstopi na zadnji časovni postaji.

Danes se je pisala zgodovina RAAM-a. Jure in Dani sta uprizorila najtesnejši spopad doslej in na koncu ni zmagal najhitrejši.

Več pričakujte v naslednjih dneh, ko se bomo v Annapolisu sproščali pred odhodom domov.

 

Jure was the fastest cyclist on this years RAAM. On the last time check TS51, he came few minutes before Dani Wyss. Because of the penalties, issued controversially, because of the rules not aplied always in the same manner and because of not issuing penalties to others, Jure and his crew decided not to finish the race as 2nd, but step out of it on TS51.

Today it was written the history of RAAM. Jure and Dani staged the toughest fight ever and on the end the fastest didn't won.

Expect more in next days when we will be relaxing before traveling back home.

Jure je v zadnjih dveh urah izgubil prednost, ki jo je prigaral. Večinoma zaradi dela na cesti, kjer je bil prisiljen čakati. Dal je absolutno vse od sebe.

Jure še vedno pridobiva, trenutno vodi za 17min, vendar mu še veliko manjka. naj spomnim, potrebuje 57 minut. Čisto možno je, da mu zmanjka Amerike. Pa naj bo še tako velika.

Jure je vstal iz postelje in sedel na kolo. Takoj za njim pa, tako kot že tretje jutro zapored, Dani Wyss. Juretu je ostalo še 300 milj, da naredi to kar lahko naredi samo on. V 300 miljah mora pridobiti vsaj 57 minut. Pravijo, da na RAAM-u lahko pridobiš 10% razdalje, ki je še ostala do konca. To pomeni, da bi lahko po tem pravilu Jure pridobil 30 milj, kar je 2 uri. Do včeraj mu to ni uspevalo. Kako bo danes, na zadnji dan velikega spopada dveh velikanov extremnega kolesarstva, kralja Jureta in princa Danija. Lahko veliki kralj še enkrat pokaže vso svojo moč in zmelje izzivalce ali bo novi princ pokazal kako se bo odslej zmagovalo na RAAM-u?

Naj bo današnji dan zapisan v zgodovino.

 

jure got up from his mobile bed and sat on the bike. So did Dani Wyss, the third night in the row. Only 300 miles are left to Jure to do his magic. In 300 miles he has to gain at least 57 minutes. Old RAAM "rule" says that you can gain 10% of the distance to the finish. It means that Jure could gain 30 miles or 2 hours. He was not very successful till yesterday. What will come out of todays effort on the day of the big showdown of two ultracycling giants, king Jure and princ Dani. Can the great king once more shows his powers or will the new princ show us how to win the RAAM in future.

Let him write history today.

Napačna informacija, Dani Wyss ni šel spat. Oba sta spet na cesti. Po zadnjih podatkih sta zelo skupaj. V nekem trenutku bosta morala oba spat. Ne verjamem, da lahko kdo od njiju zdrži do cilja brez spanja. Spanje bo ključen del taktike zadnjega dne. Ponovno bo več znanega takrat, ko bosta vstala iz postelje.

Kot vse kaže bo to najbolj napeta dirka v zgodovini RAAM-a.

 

Wrong info. Dani Wyss didn't went to bed. Both are again on the road. They are close toghether according last available info. In some moment, they will both go to sleep. I don't belive that anyone can do it without a sleep. Sleeping will be crutial part of last day tactics. More will be known when they get up and back to the road.

It looks like the tightes finish of RAAM ever.

Na vzponu proti Ellenboro-u Jure vztrajno poskuša z napadi in počasi zlomiti odpor tekmeca.. Počasi bo zmanjkalo prostora, do cilja je samo še 379 milj. Točnejšega vpogleda v taktični načrt vam žal ne morem ponuditi.

Dejstva zadnjega dne so približno taka: Jure ima 60 minut kazni, ki jo mora odslužiti v "zaporu" na ZS51, 54 milj pred ciljem. Poleg tega je taratl 3 minute za Wyssom. Ko je kazen odslužena in sta oba na cesti je odločitev v njunih nogah.

 

On the climb towards Ellensboro is Jure constantly attacking his oponent and trying to break him.. Available miles are slowly shrinking. Only 379 to go.I can't offer you more precise tactical plan info.

Some last day facts: Jure has to serve 60 minutes of penalty on TS51. 54 miles before finish. Beside that, he started 3 minutes behind Wyss. When the penalty will be served, decision will be in their legs.

Prišli smo do Apalačev! Včeraj zvečer je Wyss prehitel Jureta in odšel v spat, kmalu za njim tudi Jure. Ko sta se obadva srečala na cesti, je bil Wyss 5 minut za Juretom. Jure se je veselil Apalačev že nekaj dni, pa bo uspel s svojo namero? Potrebuje kar precej minut. Kazni so neizprosne in tistih 60 minut lahko odloči dirko. Dogodki naslednjih ur bodo nakazali kaj lahko pričakujemo v Annapolisu. Vsekakor česa takega še nismo videli. Nam bo Jure pokazal tisto svojo izjemno moč na klanec ali nam bo Dani Wyss pokazal, da je vreden naslova prvaka in bo odbil Juretov napad. Ostanite z nami. Če bo le signal dopuščal, vas bom redno obveščal.

 

We came to the Apalachian mountains! Yesterday evening Wyss overtook Jure and went to bed. Soon after him Jure went to bed too. When they both got up, Wyss was 5 minutes behind Jure. Jure is looking forward to Apalaches, but can he secced? He needs quite a few minutes. Penalties are ruthless and those 60 min utes can decide the race. Events of next few hours will shows us what we can expect in Annapolis. Anyway, we didn't see anything like it yet. Can Jure show us his famous power on uphills, or Dani Wyss will show us that he is worthy of the RAAM champion title. Stay tuned. I will keep you posted if signal coverage will permit.

Tudi to je šport

Včeraj popoldne se je usoda še enkrat poigrala z nami in nam zadala še en udarec. Po navigacijski napaki zaradi neskladnosti GPS datoteke in route book-a je pace-car posledično pripeljal Jureta do TS v Bloomingtonu po napačni poti. Možni rešitvi sta bili samo dve, kazen ali vrnitev nazaj. Manjše zlo je kazen 30 minut. Ker pa je bila napačna pot še daljša je bila izguba časa še večja.

To so razlogi za stanje, ki ste ga ugotovili sami in nas spraševali o njem preko knjige gostov. Po TS40 je Jure potreboval še en "power sleep" in s tem ga je Dani Wyss ujel in se trenutno vozita skupaj proti TS41.

 

Yesterday afternoon, destiny stroke again. After navigational mistake due to discrepancies between GPS file and route book has pace-car brought Jure to TS40 via wrong route. Possible "solutions" are two, go back or penalty. We chose lesser evil, 30 minutes penalty. But the wrong route was longer and with that loss of time even bigger.

Those are the reasons for current situation you were asking about in the guest book.. After TS40 Jure needed another power sleep and with that Dani Wyss caught him. They are riding toghether at this timw.

Datoteka, ki jo potrebujemo za satelitsko navigacijo in ki jo pridobimo od organizatorja je več ali manj neuporabna, če se proga razlikuje od lanske. V zadnji etapi se je zgodilo ravno to. Polno zavojev po ozkih stranskih ulicah in navigacija samo po knjigi.

Jure je odločen, da bo zmagal in pokazal svojo moč v preostalih 650 miljah RAAM-a.

 

The file we get from RAAM for satelite navigation is completely useless if the route is different from last years. In the last stage we got all that. Full of tight turns on back roads and only route book navigation. jure is determined to win and show his power in the last 650 miles.

Defekti

Od včeraj naprej so se na Juretovem kolesu začele pojavljati okvare zračnic, oziroma defekti. Razlog za to so večinoma slabše ceste po katerih vozimo. To so predvsem stranske ceste s katerimi se izogibamo večjim mestom kot so: St Louis, Indianapolis...

Vročina je še vedno izčrpljujoča in velika pozornost ekipe je namenjena prav Juretovemu zdravstvenemu stanju.

 

From yesterday on, punctures became a factor on Jure's bike. Reason for that are mostly bad roads on which we are avoiding major cities like St. Louis, Indianapolis....

Heat is still exausting and great attention of the team goes to Jure's medical condidtion.

Še naprej dirkamo po planu. Zaradi težav z zaspanostjo se malo več ustavljamo. Tega ustavljanja ne bi bilo, če bi bilo potrebno iti na polno. Trenutno se peljemo ravninah Ilinoisa, ki so resnično ravne in zato je potrebno več animacije za Jureta, da ostane zbran.

 

We are still racing according to plan. Because of sleep depreviation problems, Jure needs more short stops. Those stops would be canceled if nessesary. Long flat sections of Ilinois are really flat and because of that Jure needs more animation to stay focused.

Nova noč

Jure je pravkar opravil nočni počitek in se na cesto zapeljal v trenutku, ko je mimo pripeljal Wyss. Wyss bo svoje spanje najbrž opravil kasneje, proti jutru. Trenutno se vozita eden za drugim (100 metrov narazen). Več o razpletu dogodkov v nadaljevanju.

 

Jure has just finished his night rest and returned to the road in the same moment when Wyss passed by. Wyss will probably rest later in the night. They are currently riding one after another (100 meters). More news to follow.

Vročina

Današnja vročina je bila res izjemna in da bi pomagali Juretu smo se odločili za krajše odmore za ohlajanje. Temperature so bile okrog 36 stopinj celzija z visoko vlažnostjo zraka. Zavestno smo se odločili za to, čeprav smo s tem zmanjšali zaostanek. Ne smemo pozabiti, da je dirka še zelo dolga. Stari rek, da se pravi RAAM začne šele po Mississipiju, se bo kot kaže letos potrdil.

In na koncu bo boljši zmagal.

 

Today's heat was really extraordinary and to help Jure, we decided for short cooldown breaks. tempretures were at around 36 degrees celzius with high humidity. We decided to do that inspite loosing some lead to Dani Wyss. We must not forget that RAAM is still very long. There is an old saying that RAAM begins after Mississipi. This year it might become reality.

And at the end, the best man wins.

Zaradi dveh kratkih postankov za ohlajanje, je prednost na TS33 padla na vsega 1h21min. Vročina je res neznosna in Jure je res potreboval ta dva postanka.

Mobilisation

Kar nekaj ur se nisem oglasil. Razlog je najprej v slabem pokrivanju signala, kasneje pa v tem, da sem enkaj ur vozil tudi pace car. V vmesnem času se ni veliko zgodilo in prav to je trenutno glavna težava. Običajno je Jure v tem času imel RAAM praktično odločen, tokrat ni tako. Dani Wyss odlično dirka in ostaja blizu. Lahko bi celo rekli, da se približuje Juretu. Jure ta trenutek nima fizičnih težav, je hitrejši kot kdajkoli prej, je bolj zbran kot kdajkoli prej, nima bolečin... Njegov "stroj" je v odličnem stanju. Čeprav je v današnje jutro stopil z večjo prednostjo kot v včerajšnje, nam gibanja časovnih razlik nekaj povedo. Na TS29 je imel prednosti 2h37min, TS30 2h8min, TS31 1h55min. Ali to pomeni, da je Jure počasnejši na kolesu? Ne, preveč stoji!

Seveda je za spremljevlce, gledalce in oboževalce RAAM-a to sanjski scenarij, ko se stari kralj brani pred izzivalcem. Ko vsi razglabljajo o razpokah v oklepu, semenih dvoma in podobnih pravljičnih bedarijah.

Če predvidevamo, da Dani Wyss dirka po nekem planu, ki se ga s švicarsko natančnostjo drži, je v rokah Jureta Robiča vse ostalo. Ali bo lahko kljub temu prišel prvi v Annapolis? Jaz verjamem v to. Videl sem ga v takih neverjetnih situacijah, da mi ne bi verjeli, pa je uspel zbrati svoje misli in svoj "stroj" usmeriti v pravo smer. Čeprav je vsem letošnjim glavnim konkurentom priznaval kvaliteto, ga je taka vztrajnost presenetila. Trenutno vozi proti Jefferson City-u in se najbrž ukvarja z neprijetno mislijo, da bo najbrž treba dati vse od sebe in živalsko trpeti do cilja, če želi zmagati. Lahko bi rekli, da zdaj najbrž išče to svojo željo po zmagi. In ko jo bo našel, bomo imeli "the greatest RAAM of all times", "mother of all races"...

I was away for some hours. At first due lack of coverage and later due my duty in pace car. In between nothing much happend and that is the major problem.

Usually Jure decides its RAAMs by this stage in race, but not this time. Dani Wyss races perfectly and he is staying close. We could even say that he is closing the gap. Jure is not having any fisical problems, is faster then ever, more awake than ever, no pains... His "machine" is in great shape. He entered this morning with greater lead then yesterday, but the gap movements are telling us something differend. On TS29 2h37min lead, TS30 2h8min lead, TS31 1h55min lead. Does that mean that he is slower on the bike? No, he is stoping to much!

For sure, this is dream scenario for RAAM followers, fans and spectators, when the old king defends his crown from new chalenger. When everybody are talking about cracks in the armor, seed of doubt and similar farytail noncence.

If we predict that Dani Wyss will stick the plan and will execute it with swiss precision, we can assume that everything else is in hands and legs of Jure Robic. Can he get to Annapolis first? I belive that he can. I saw him in such unbeliveable situations where he managed to pull his strengts toghether in direct his "machine" into right direction.. Although he admitted credibility to his rivals, persistancy of Dani Wyss surprised him. He just passed Jefferson city and is probably thinking about how he will have to put everything out and endure great suffer till the finish line if he wants to win. We can say that he is currentlly searching for his desire to win. And when he finds it, be prepared for "the greatest RAAM of all times", "mother of all races"...

I feel Slovenia

Kot običajno, je Jureta tudi letos v Kansasu pričakal slovenska družinica Kalan, ki s svojimi domoljubnimi vložki ogreje Juretovo srce. Mali Matevž se je Juretu nasproti zapeljal s slovensko zastavo na kolesu.

 

Like every year, Jure' s fans, Kalan familiy waited for him in Kansas with their patriotic note. Young Matevž was riding his bike with slovenian flag towards Jure just before TS28 in Yates center.

Vročina

V tej hudi vročini Jure lepo napreduje, od TS26 do TS27 je prednost povečal še za nekaj minut. V El Doradu je vodil 2h 11minut. Na spletni strani Danija Wyssa lahko preberete novičko v kateri omenja, da ima naša ekipa na razpolago 3 pace avte in 3 avtodome. Vsaj tako sem razumel s svojim skromnim znanjem nemščine. Ker vem, da moje prispevke berejo tudi oni, naj jim še nekrat pojasnim, da imamo en avtodom, en pace car in en dodaten avtomobil, ki se popularno imenuje spy car.

 

Jure is advancing really nicely in this extreme heat. From TS26 to TS27, he increased his lead a few more minutes. In El Dorado, gap was 2h 11minutes. You can see on the webpage of Dani Wyss that they are claiming that we have 3 motorhomes and 3 pace cars at our disposal. At least so I understood with my poor knowlege of german language. Since I know they are reading my posts, let me explain once more that we have one motorhome, one pace car and one auxillary vehicle, named spy car.

V Kansasu Juretu še vedno pomaga hrbtni veter. Vročina pa je skoraj neznosna, trenutno je približno 36 stopinj celzija. Pravkar se je na kratko ustavil na TS26 v Maize KS in pojedel rižoto.

 

Jure is still helped by tail wind in Kansas, but the heat is pushing hard. Now it's approximatly 36 degrees celzius. He just stoped shortly on TS26 and eat his risotto.

No free mcdonalds

V Prattu smo vsako leto dobili zastonj obrok v McDonalds-u. Letos pa je očitno recesija naredila svoje, ni zastonj McDonaldsa.

Jure je zelo motiviran in razpoložen in noče več zapravljati pridobljene prednosti s kratkimi postanki. Veseli se popoldanskega toplega obroka, danes bo to rižota. Trenutno vodi za slabe dve uri in namerava prednost samo še povečevati.

 

Every year in Pratt we got free McDonalds meal. I guess recession took it's toll, no free McDonalds.

Jure is very motivated and in good mood and he doesn't want to lose his advantage with short stops. He is looking forward to today's hot meal, it will be risotto. He is currently leading for almost two hours and he want's to extend the lead.

Taktika

Jure se odlično počuti, težave preteklih dni so res samo še preteklost. Kot kaže se taktika dveh krajših nočnih postankov odlično obnese. Danes ponoči se je celo malo pohecal z Dani-jem Wyss-om, ko je po spanju spet prevzemal vodstvo je to naredil tako, da ga je prehitel s hitrostjo 50 km/h!

Fizično je v tako dobrem stanju, da je po postanku celo pritekel od avtodoma do kolesa. Po 1350 miljah na kolesu.

 

Jure feels great, problems of past days are just the past. As it seems, two night stops tacticks, are working great. Tonight he even played a little joke on Dani Wyss, when regaining the lead, he passed Dani with 50 km/h!

Nekaj minut za tem, ko je Jure sedel na kolo, je tudi prevzel vodstvo. Trenutno vodi za približno 10 minut. Upoštevati moramo pa tudi to, da bo Wyss najbrž šel tudi nocoj na spanje za približno dve uri.

Ko je Jure izstopal iz avtodoma, je Wyss ravno pripeljal mimo. S tem sta oba konkurenta zelo blizu skupaj na cesti. Seveda je potrebno upoštevati, da je Jure svoj današnji spanec že opravil, Wyss-a pa postanek še čaka.

 

While Jure was getting out of the motorhome, Wyss just passed us. With that, both of the competitors are very close toghether on the road. We have to stress out that Jure made his "pit stop" for tonight, Wyss will have to do that soon and with that, order will change again.

Ravnina

Medtem, ko Jure zaključuje svoj delovni dan z rednim spancem, se doma prebuja jutro. Danes smo zapustili Rocky mountains in se s pomočjo hrbtnega vetra z veliko hitrostjo podili proti vzhodu. Jure se je kljub temu, da resnično ne mara ravninskih etap, danes veliko smejal. Predvsem zaradi hrbtnega vetra. Dani Wyss se še vedno dobro drži in tudi on s pomočjo hrbtnega vetra drvi čez planjave. Na vprašanje kako vidi svojega konkurenta Dani-ja Wyss-a, je Jure odgovoril: "Počakajte na Apalače".

 

While Jure is finishing his working day with regular night sleep, at home morning is rising. Today we left Rocky mountains and we are now, with the help of tail winds, steaming towards east. Jure really doesn't like flat stages, but today he was smiling a lot. Mostly due tail winds. Dani Wyss is holding good and he is also steaming over the great planes. When questioned how he feels about his rival, holding onto him, Jure replied: "Wait for the Apalachian mountains".

Bobcat pass

Jure je veliko boljše volje, zdaj ko je prečkal še 3000 m visoki prelaz Bobcat pass. Zdravila za grlo učinkujejo, rain stoped falling. Med postankom za kosilo smo posneli tudi dve izjavi, ki bosta objavljeni v najkrajšem času.

 

Jure is now in much better mode since he crossed the 3000m Bobcat pass. Medicine for throat is working, rain stoped falling. During lunch, we recorded two statments which will be online as soon as possible.

Dež

Po končanem Juretovem spancu je le nekaj minut zatem mimo pripeljal tudi Wyss. Na razdalji nekaj minut (10-20) sta ostala cel vzpon na La Manga pass in vse do sredine naslednje etape. V tem trenutku Wyss počiva, Jure pa je opravil še en kratek power sleep.

Vpliv na Juretovo počutje v popoldanskih urah so imeli tudi spomini na leto 2006, ko je bil primoran zaradi pljučnice odstopiti prav v Pagosa Springs.

Trenutno dežuje.

 

After Jure slept and went back on the road, Wyss passed TS 16. They stayed on a distance of 10-20 minutes for the whole climb to La Manga pass in vse do sredine naslednje etape. At this moment is Wyss resting, Jure on the road after power sleep.

Memories on 2006, when he had to finish the race in Pagosa Springs were coming up in the afternoon and had strong influence on Jure's feelings.

Klanci

Pred največjimi klanci smo se taktično odločili, da Jure opravi krajši spanec in se tako pripravi na napore. Hkrati mu bo doktor saniral tudi težave s pekočim grlom, ki ga ovira. Glede na razkošje v prednosti, ki jo Jure ima, smo si lahko tak postanek privoščili.

 

Before the toughest climbs, we decided to make tactical shirt sleep. Jure will be then better prepared for the climbs. At the same time, doctor can treat his throat which was causing Jure problems. we can affort such stop due to lead which Jure produced during the day.

Napaka

Durango, 19.6.2009 ob 16.15 EST

 

V Durangu se nam je zgodila neljuba navigacijska napaka zaradi katere je Jure izgubil kar nekaj minut.

V križišču slabo miljo pred TS, kjer je bila zaradi del na cesti potrebna odločitev v trenutku, je vodja ekipe presodil, da se gre desno (kjer proga poteka že sedem let). Ta odločitev je Jureta pripeljala po običajni poti do TS. Tam smo spoznali, da je bila pot zadnje pol milje napačna. Pod grožnjo kazni smo se odločili, da Jureta vrnemo na sporno križišče in odpelje odsek pravilno. S tem smo izgubili nekaj minut, vendar smo vso zmešnjavo izkoristili za "power sleep". Vodja ekipe Uroš Velepec je prevzel vso odgovornost nase in se za napako opravičil Juretu. Ob taki napaki nam ni lahko saj dobro vemo kako trdo so prigarane take minute.

S tem se je Juretova prednost malce zmanjšala, vendar prihaja njegov teren, vzponi.

 

We made a navigational mistake in Durango which costed Jure some minutes.

Some half a mile before TS, where the route was due road work changed, fast decison had to be made. Crew chief decided to go right (route for the past 7 years). This decision brought Jure to TS via usual route. At the TS we realized that we made a mistake and under the threat of penalty, decided to take Jure back to the point in question. We lost some minutes with that, but we used it for "power sleep". Crew chief Uroš Velepec took all the responsibility for the mistake and apolgized to Jure. We all feel bad by this mistake since we all know how hard Jure has to work to get those minutes back. With that Jure's lead got smaller, but now we are going into his terain, climbs.

Kazni

Cortez CO, 19.6.09 ob 11.50

 

Nekateri ste opazili, da smo dobili tudi že dve kazni. Vsako leto dobimo vsaj eno in skoraj vedno so v ozadju kakšne čudne okoliščine. Tokrat je Jure dobil prvo kazen še pred štartom. Precej dolgo je čakal na štart in je moral iti na malo potrebo. Seveda je to opravil takoj za odrom. :) Videl ga je policist in ga prijavil organizatorjem. Sporno je to, da je dobil kazen še pred pričetkom dirke.

Druga kazen pa je padla na avtocesti, kjer po pravilih ni dovoljeno nikakršno prehitevanje tekmovalcev. Problem je nastal, ko je Jure ujel počasnejšega kolesarja dirke Race across the west. Ker ga ni mogel prehiteti, je vozil 100 metrov za njim. Sodnik, ki je prišel mimo pa je z vzporedno vožnjo in "blendanjem" nekaj nakazoval. Naši so to razumeli kot, da ga lahko prehitijo. Dve uri kasneje pa je ta isti sodnik dostavil kazen

 

Some of you noticed that we got two penalties. Every year we get at least one and almost allways under strange circumstances. This time Jure gor his first penalty before start. He waited long time for the start and he needed to "take a leak". Ofcourse, he did that just behind the stage. A policeman saw him and reported him to race officials. Penalty was given before start, I'm not sure that this is completely regular.

Second penalty we got on the highway where you can't overtake other riders. Problem started when Jure caught with some of the slowest riders from Race across the west. Since he couldn't overtake hime, he stayed 100 meters behind. Official who came along, tried to signal something with lights and parallel driving. The crew understood that as permition for overtaking. Two hours later penalty was served.

Colorado

Noč je postregla s spremembami v razporedu. Nekaj časa je celo vodil Wyss, vendar samo zaradi "postanka manj". Ko je odšel spat, je Jure ponovno prevzel vodstvo, Wyss pa je ostal drugi, predvsem zaradi 3 urnega Strasserjevega postanka.

Nekaj časa smo bili informacijsko odrezani od sveta v prelepih krajih Arizone in Utah. Zdaj smo v Coloradu, kjer je vsaj začno bolje s pokrivanjem signala.

Jure se počuti odlično in bo najbrž v klancih Colorada svojo prednost še bolj utrdil. Lahko bi rekli, da se vse odvija po že videnem scenariju. Vseeno pa ostaja dirka vsaj rezultatsko zanimiva in se bo še veliko dogajalo.

 

the night was serving to us some changes in race order. Wyss was leading the race for some time, but just because he went to sleep late. After he went to bed, Jure took over again. Wyss stayed second, mainly beacause of 3 hour sleep of Strasser.

For some time we had no signal coverage in Arizona and UTAH, now it's better in Colorado. At least for now.

Jure is feeling great and will probably even increase his lead in the climbs of Colorado. We could say that all goes by familiar scenario. Abyway, race is still interesting.

Spanje

Jure je odspal svoje prvo spanje na TS10 kjer se je zadržal manj kot dve uri. Prav tako si je za prvo spanje to časovno ostajo izbral tudi Strasser, ki je še vedno v avtodomu. Wyss and Baloh do TS10 še nista spala. Najbrž si bosta počitek privoščila v naslednjih urah. Po prvih postanih bo vrstni red in zaostanki spet realni.

 

Jure slept his first sleep on TS10 where he stayed less than 2 hours. Kayenta is the sleeping place also for Strasser. Wyss and Baloh didn't slept since TS10 and will probably take some sleep in next hours. Order on the results board will then be again realistic.

Monument valley

Jure napreduje proti TS10 brez večjih problemov, počuti se dobro. Ker še ne čuti resne potrebe po spancu je čisto mogoče, da še ne bo tako kmalu spal. In ponovno bomo prevozili Monument valley pooči in bomo mogli uživati pogleda na te naravne lepote.

 

Jure is cycling towards TS10 without any problems and he is feeling good. Since he is n ot sensing any real need for sleeping, he might not yet stop for sleep. And again, we will pass through monument valley during the night and not be able to enjoy it's natural beauty.

Nočni počitek

Počasi se približuje čas prvega Juretovega nočnega počitka. Trenutno smo 55 milj pred Kayento kjer je Jure v zadnjih letih vedno prvič spal.

Obvoz

Flagstaf 18.6.09 ob 16.00EST

 

Zaradi ozke gorske ceste smo morali z avtodomom precej naokoli in trenutno še potujemo na TS8. Po hitrih izračunih se zna zgoditi, da bo Jure tam celo pred nami. zaradi obvoza je tudi šef prisiljen počivati malo dlje v avtodomu. V spremljevalnem avtu tako ostajata od štarta Matej in Jošt, ki bosta tudi kmalu dobila prvi zasluženi odmor v avtodomu. Juretova prednost pred Strasserjem ostaja 45 minut.

 

Due to narrow mountain road we had to go around the mountains with the motorhome, Currentlly we are still traveling to TS8 and it can easilly happen that Jure will arrive to TS even before us. Chief is now forced to rest some more, due to detour. Matej and Jošt are in the pace car all the way from the start, soon they will get their well deserved rest in the motorhome.Jure is still around 45 minutes before Strasser.

Arizona

Prescott AZ, 18.6. ob 13.20 EST

 

Trenutno smo na TS6 Prescott, kjer smo obnovili zaloge hrane, da bo lahko Bojan spet pripravil dobro kosilo.

Na poti na TS6 smo imeli nekaj težav z različnostjo rute na GPS-u in v knjigi. Ker je knjiga primarni način navigacije, smo zadevo hitro rešili in nismo povzročili nobene zamude.

Jure še vedno vodi in je skozi TS6 prišel 46 minut pred Strasserjem in 1h14m pred Balohom.

At this moment we are at TS6 in Prescott where we are buying food so Bojan can make us a great lunch.

On the way to TS6 we had some problems with diferences in the route book and in the GPS. We solve that easily, since the book is primar mean of navigation.

Jure is still in the lead and went through TS6 46 minutes before Strasser and 1h14 minutes before Baloh.

Jutro

Congress AZ, 18.6.2009 ob 8.40EST

 

16 milj pred Congress AZ je Jure vodil 18 minut pred Balohom in 18 minut in pol pred Strasserjem. Pravkar se peljemo v prvi sončni vzhod na letošnjem RAAM-u. Takoj po TS5 se začne dolg vzpon na Prescott AZ, kjer se bodo pokazale prave karte. Ekipa deluje kot običajno. Nekateri so že malo utrujeni, vendar je drugi del ekipe nabral dovolj počitka, da bo zamenjal utrujene.

 

16 miles before Congress AZ was Jure 18 minutes in front of Baloh and 18,5 minutes before Strasser. We are just driving into first sunrise on this years RAAM. Long climb to Prescott AZ starts soon after TS5. On that climb, real cards will be shown. Team works as usual, some members are tired after long day, some members has just filled their bateries so that they can replace tired ones.

Interstate

Na progi je veliko kolesarjev iz kategorije Race across the west in zaradi tega je stanje na lestvici malo težje določiti preden se javijo časi naslednjega TS. Takoj ko dobimo te podatke jih bomo lahko pokomentirali.

 

A lot of Race across the west cyclists are producing some crowd on the track and because of that we can't establish correct order in RAAM category. We have to wait for TS4 results. As soon as we get them, I will report back.

Na TS3 v Blythu so prvi kolesarji še vedno tesno skupaj, malce presenetljivo zaostaja le Gulewitz. Čez nekaj minut bomo najbrž za nekaj časa vstopili v območje brez signala.

 

On TS3 in Blythe are major competitors still packed toghether. Gulewitz is slightly in the back. In few minutes we will probably enter the zone without signal coverage.<
